In partnership with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, the ADAGP awarded the 2020 Design Revelation to Niveau Zéro Atelier, multidisciplinary designers. This mobile platform for the production of ceramic objects is designed to be grafted onto architectural sites in order to exploit the clay strata exposed during the excavation and earthmoving phases. The jury then distinguished "a project that brings back to the obvious". As part of the ADAGP's Revelations program, Niveau Zéro Atelier (N0A) exhibits a multitude of fragmentary forms that link their MEGA project and their precise and experimental minimal aesthetic vocabulary.N0A's approach is first and foremost a search for use qualities articulated with the attributes of a place, its territory and its characteristics.

The designers thus explore a diversity of fields (scientific, anthropological, technical or ecological) to carry out production and experimentation projects "revealing ways of being in the world". Here an autonomous fountain recalls the extrusion tool designed to shape the clay extracted on a construction site in Bagnolet near Paris, as part of the MEGA project. The continuous circuit allows the earth to settle and create a form of erosion on clay pieces. Placed in the center of the space, it evokes a certain fluidity of movement in time.

This prototype can be read as an allegory of the work of the collective which finds itself around the question of reproduction (of forms, gestures, images, ...) in the context of this presentation.Real or represented objects, clues and printed experiments, scenographic elements thought as promises come to inhabit the space of the ADAGP, offering him a new functional and aesthetic dimension through subtle interventions.
